Our Story
SquishWave started in 2009 as a small novelty toy export operation in Shantou, Guangdong — the heartland of China's toy manufacturing industry. For the first five years, we focused purely on production quality: sourcing the best TPR and silicone materials, building molds that held up to millions of squeeze cycles, and developing the slow-rise foam formulation that has become our trademark.
In 2018, we made a deliberate pivot toward the US and European markets. We hired English-speaking sales staff, got EN71 and ASTM certifications for our full product line, and restructured our minimum order quantities to make us accessible to boutique retailers — not just massive importers.
